PEN WORLD VOICES FESTIVAL

For the 2023 PEN World Voices Festival, a four-day event showcasing talks and readings in celebration of international literature, we filmed 12 events in six venues across New York City’s West Village, including two broadcasts streamed live from The New School: author Ta-Nehisi Coates’ Arthur Miller Freedom to Write Lecture, and “Why Write?” a panel featuring novelists Ottessa Moshfegh, Rachel Kushner, Min Jin Lee, and Akhil Sharma. Other event highlights included four multi-camera productions at Church of the Village, and single-camera videography in venues at both The New School and AIA New York Center for Architecture. We customized our production packages to align the technical requirements of each venue with desired production values and budget for each event. Throughout the festival, our team managed fast turnaround deadlines for delivering the final edited videos so PEN America could share them on their social channels within days of each event.
